Greetings and welcome to February. January has flown by and things are heating up. PPC held its first quarterly board meeting last month in Santa Maria. One of the highlights is the Membership Value and Experience Committee. Headed by Pete Rezac, this committee is working to bring more reasons to join PPC and give you value for your dues.
We have firmed up a couple of workshop dates and will be putting the first trip online shortly. May 4-6 we will be touring Sequoia National Park with Sharon Lobel and John Grusd. Watch for the email coming soon.
January 27 was the Installation and Awards Dinner. I want to congratulate the many photographers who walked away with the awards. Diane Costello was the Best of Show with “Mesmerized.” Oh by the way it only scored 100.
If you haven’t signed up for West Coast School yet, ya better hurry. One class is SOLD OUT and a couple of others are close.
We have filled all of the committee chair positions for PPC but we still need volunteers to help on all of the committees. If you are interested in giving a couple of hours, send me an email with your interests. We would love to have you on board helping.
PPC is a wonderful organization and is run by volunteers. Time is the only thing that we all have about the same amount of time in life. Giving of time is the best way to help everyone.
